Olympia Kent holds the position as the BVFW Chief Executive of the Hair and Makeup department. As a former graduate of the Gwynnis Mosby Makeup Acadamy, she has the proper skill to teach future professionals how to better their craft. She educates the students on how the industry works within the backstage part of productions and needs to know tips.
Her career in the beauty industry started when she was just 13 years of age. She worked as a salon shampoo assistant and was taught how to Arch eyebrows. Following high school graduation, Atlanta Technical College is where she studied while still in high school to learn more about the industry. Years passed and she eventually came back to the industry and studied professional makeup at The Gwynnis Mosby Makeup Academy in Tucker, GA. Since graduating Olympia has not only established a position with BVFW but she works as a professional makeup artist for film and television.
